Glynn and computers
Glynn Bird works in the IT industry and is a programmer by trade. His experience with computer extends back to BBC Micros, through early Windows PCs, Linux and Apple OS X.
Programming
Glynn's programming began with BBC Basic, C, C++, Java and PHP. His work in the areas of website design and search technology have brough experience with XML and XSLT and Javascript.
Web standards
Glynn is keen proponent of web-standards, free software and a good web browsing experience. This extends to using Firefox, Flock, Safari, Camino, Opera or any other non-IE browser wherever possible.
